Anche questa rubrica era prevista ieri, ma me ne occupo oggi:)

 "Reading Books"!

 Tra  i libri che vorrei veder pubblicati in Italia, ce n'è uno che ultimamente mi sta davvero dando il tormento. Probabilmente non verrà mai pubblicato qui da noi, ma io, al solito, non smetto di sperarci.

Ho creato questa rubrica apposta, per dar spazio a quelle piccole scoperte fatte da me (o anche da altri blogger), augurandomi vengano notate da qualche casa editrice italiana, decisa a dar loro una possibilità.

Eccolo qui il romanzo di oggi:

Sto provando a leggerlo in inglese (ho acquistato il kindle gratuito su Amazon qualche tempo fa), ma naturalmente sarebbe diverso se potessi leggerlo nella mia lingua:)

La trama mi ha molto incuriosita: un romanzo sci-fi di genere young adult, una storia fuori dai soliti canoni, con protagonista una principessa aliena proveniente da un pianeta chiamato Kelari e un ragazzo umano con un carattere davvero odioso. Saranno scintille!

La cover poi... vogliamo parlarne? E' bellissimaaaaaa! Non a caso, quella del terzo libro della serie l'ho scelta per la rubrica "Le più belle cover" di questa settimana (è la 5a!).

Allora, a voi non incuriosisce neanche un po' questo romanzo?



Rubrica: Reading Books #9

Prima di correre alla spiaggia più vicina, mi dedico all'altra rubrica di oggi, che è "Reading Books", ovvero i libri che vorremmo venissero pubblicati in Italia, ma al momento possiamo solo leggere in madre lingua.

Un libro scoperto di recente e che mi intriga da impazzire è "Tiger Lily" di Jodi Lynn Anderson. Per chi è appassionato di classici Disney, in questo caso "Peter Pan" e per chi non può rinunciare a leggere una dolce storia d'amore...

La cover è semplicemente incantevole, l'ho subito adorata*_*

Cari amici followers,

oggi è sabato e si prospetta dalle mie parti un caldo, afossissimo weekend.

Benissimo! Il mare e un buon libro mi terranno compagnia in questi giorni...

Ma... vogliamo parlare di libri in inglese che chissà se riusciremo mai a leggere in edizione italiana? Oggi, per la rubrica "Reading Books" vi propongo "Blackbringer" esclusivamente perché ho adorato lo stile di Laini Taylor, autrice de "La Chimera di Praga", e mi piacerebbe tantissimo leggere qualche altro capolavoro scaturito dalla sua magistrale penna e dalla sua incredibile immaginazione.

Rubrica: Reading Books #7

Oggi, per la rubrica "Reading Books", dedicata ai libri stranieri che mi conquistano ma che purtroppo sono costretta a leggere in inglese perché non ne esiste ancora un'edizione italiana,

 ho scelto un libro di genere distopico che mi ha attirata solo dopo aver visto il BOOKTRAILER.

Si tratta di "Under the never sky" di Veronica Rossi. Conoscete?

E qualcuno ha notizie di una sua futura pubblicazione qui da noi, perché forse ho letto qualche accenno a riguardo... Penso sarebbe magnifico! Praticamente ho cominciato a lasciare bava su ogni sito dove ne trovavo notizie...

Rubrica: Reading Books #6

"Reading Books" si occupa dei libri che purtroppo, al momento, siamo costretti a leggere in inglese, nell'attesa o nella speranza che qualche editore italiano ne resti colpito quanto noi.

Il libro che mi ha intrigata questa settimana è:

"Of Poseidon" di Anna Banks

Trama

C'è qualcuno tra di voi che ha avuto il piacere (o il dispiacere, naturalmente) di leggerlo? Come l'ha trovato?

Io penso che di per sé la cover è davvero splendida, suggestiva, con quei contrasti chiari e scuri... sembra un sogno la figura raffigurata*_*

La trama poi sembra carina, o forse sono io al momento fissata con questo genere di storie (vedi Le più belle cover #10).

Rubriche: Reading books #5 + Series I love You #7

Buongiorno a tutti!

Quest'oggi  ho deciso di creare un unico post per le due rubriche previste, dunque "Reading books" si unisce a "Series I love You".

Uno dei libri che vorrei tanto leggere in italiano, ma che purtroppo al momento nessun editore è intenzionato a pubblicare - almeno per quel che ne so - è "The goddess test" di Aimee Carter (come potete vedere anche nella sidebar a lato). Fa parte di una favolosa serie composta da tre libri, più due novelle intermedie.

Si tratta di un romanzo YA , pubblicato dalla Harlequin Teen, che incontra la mitologia e il mito in questione è quello di Persefone e Ade, il dio degli Inferi. Dopo Starcrossed di Josephine Angelini, un altro romanzo con protagonisti gli dei della mitologia greca. E, anche se non l'ho ancora letto, sono convinta i due romanzi siano molto diversi.

 Contraddistingue The goddess test - l'intera serie, direi - una trama molto originale, che non può non affascinare la maggior parte delle lettrici del genere. Un romanzo che probabilmente tutte noi romantiche e appassionate di storie particolari e fuori dal comune vorremmo leggere.

E, mentre chi ha avuto la fortuna di leggere i libri di Aimee Carter e sta attendendo di concludere una delle sue serie preferite, noi aspettiamo ancora - forse invano - di leggerne anche solo uno. Per chi vuole cimentarsi, l'unico opzione è al momento leggerlo in lingua originale... Che ingiustizia!:(

Rubrica - Reading Books #4

Buonasera  a tutti!

Dopo un paio di giorni di assenza, rieccomi qui. Certo, questa non è una gran bella giornata x me ma, d'altronde, non posso neanche passarla deprimendomi. Meglio distrarsi e non pensare agli amici che si trasferiscono e ti abbandonano...:(

Se non sbaglio oggi è il giorno della lettura straniera adocchiata;) Bene, ne ho più di una in mente da presentarvi.

Il primo libro ad avermi colpita è stato questo:

"The Hunt" di Andrew Fukuda, che verrà pubblicato l'8 maggio. Siamo sui generi young adult, paranormal, distopico (un genere che mi fa proprio impazzire). Mi ricorda molto "Hunger Games", ma quale distopico ora come ora non lo ricorda?

Il secondo libro che vorrei leggere è "Abandon" di Meg Cabot (autrice di "Insatiable"), alle prese con questa nuova trilogia e l'antico mito di Ade e Persefone.

Terzo e ultimo libro, per la serie "vi prego editori italiani, pubblicateli! sono disperata!" è "The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer" di Michelle Hodkin che, fortuna vuole, sia stato preso in considerazione da una casa editrice italiana e verrà pubblicato anche da noi. Evvivaaa!!!:)))

Mistero e paranormale in questo young adult davvero accattivante.

Trama

Rubrica - Reading Books #3

"Reading Books" di oggi, ovvero i libri che, ora come ora, possiamo leggere soltanto in inglese, è, come promesso, "Alice in Zombieland" di Gena Showalter, primo della serie "White Rabbit Chronicles". Per chi non l'avesse ancora capito, la Gena Showalter in questione è proprio quella della serie "Lord of the underword"!

La pubblicazione in America del romanzo è prevista pr il 25 settembre 2012.

Trama ed estratto che leggete sotto le ho trovate su Goodreads. Per adesso non abbiamo molto:( Ma è di sicuro uno dei romanzi che voglio di più in Italia...Adoro la fiaba di Alice e  questa rivisitazione più l'unione con l'elemento "zombie" la trovo un'idea assolutamente originale ed esaltante.

 E voi? Che cosa ne pensate?

E che ne dite della cover? STREPITOSA, vero???? *_*
